From our initial meeting with Jake, we knew that he is a first class coach.  Jake not only works to develop proper baseball techniques, he’s also a top ‘mental game coach' who helps athletes cope with the demands of intense competition.  His ability  to work with young men on and off the field and teach them valuable life lessons that they will carry into adulthood is bar none.

The GSA program not only teaches the game of basketball, the coaches emphasize hard work, determination, setting goals, work ethic, integrity, sportsmanship,  and character. The coaches also stress the importance of working hard in the classroom and striving for top grades.  The coaches care about each and every individual player, in addition to teaching them high level basketball skills and IQ.  Most importantly, the GSA staff teaches their players life lessons on how to be fine young men & women in the community.

After working with Jake for several months, our son has improved so much that he is now being considered for a pitching spot on his team and is much more consistent at bat.  Jake is the kind of mentor that is a parent’s dream: he challenges, nurtures and teaches values of good sportsmanship and perseverance.  Whether you have an all-star or a developing athlete, Coach Jake will meet and grow your child’s skill and have a blast    at the same time.
